  1. Well I just came onto Hereford Voice to post something on this Roger you are far too quick for me. Really shocking news.
  2. It does make you wonder doesn't it? How it could swing that much in such a short time very odd.
  3. The real Lord of Hereford has spoken bless his heart There was a dogging programme on the television the other night too late for me to have a good nights sleep = sorry off topic
  4. Love the repesentation on behalf of the The Green. My mother's first cousin Miss Winifred Prosser lived there with her parents Harry and Maud Prosser all absolutely lovely people. They would turn in their graves if they knew what the Council had up their sleeves for the Green.
  5. Of course it makes sense now - that was his selling point when he was canvassing. What most people complain about is traffic - he would have said don't worry we will put right - and that explains why so few people are interested and think the SLR is the saviour - there needs to be some serious re-education in a short space of time. Glenda I think was one the few who was against this road and so the result of the election.
  6. It was a very poor letter did not really make that much sense to me - she was obviously being advised as to what to say
  7. More about this incredible news on our blog: http://bettertransport.org.uk/…/230615-hastings-pollution-v… Victory in Hastings: permission for Gateway road quashed News just in: Hastings Borough Council has accepted that it made an error of law in granting planning permission for the £15 million Queensway Gateway road, and... 8. And what kind of society do we live in that he failed to get assistance (until he reached his friend's house) in a built up area. Wretched time for his family.
  9. Ezitracker is used by Care staff to log in and log out of calls - the council must have taken on the contract rather than individual agencies paying their own accounts
  10. And I didn't see Dippy's!
  11. Colin you can amalgamate this one with yours or do what you like with it!
  12. Of course now I can place him hope he does it all very sympathetically!

  14. This was at the Pengethely Hotel on the way to Ross on Wye
  15. Chris - if these people who tithe and sponsor to these various "religions" have so much surplus cash (which I hope is not in the form of benefits and tax credits but is genuinely earned cash) surely it would be much better for the cash to be directly donated to these very much needed charities. Food banks should not be actually needed in this country in this day and age but sadly that is the situation we are in. Street Pastors do do a wonderful job in keeping safe youngsters who have gone over the top in their celebrations. Bypassing the middleman who inevitably take their very sizeable chunk would ultimately give a great deal more cash to these worthy causes. I too also feel unease about Freedom Church - I am not entirely comfortable with their motives and trust that people in positions of trust are carefully monitoring the situation. Too often Freedom Church are referred to as a cult I have never heard C of E and Catholics being referred to as cults.
  16. Young innocent foreign students coming to Hereford spending the money their parents have scraped together on this rip off religion - cheaper to go to a C of E Church and just as fulfilling. Accommodation Cambo that will be an added extra.
  17. Straying slightly off the topic of the Jess sorry Hereford Times â€@HTnewsroom 35 mins 35 minutes ago Bill Wiggin to chair Commons committee that puts other MPs onto committees: New role also comes with the chanc... http://bit.ly/1L6w0dT

  19. Sir Eric Pickles to take 'long hard look' at electoral fraud By WMNOVergnault | Posted: June 18, 2015 Sir Eric Pickles, the Government's new anti-corruption tsar, has said he intends to take a "long hard look" at fraud in the electoral system. Comments (0)Sir Eric Pickles, the Government's new anti-corruption tsar, has said he intends to take a "long hard look" at fraud in the electoral system. ADVERTISING The former communities and local government secretary said he feared the recent Tower Hamlets case, where mayor Lutfur Rahman was stripped of office for electoral fraud, was not an isolated incident. He said that he particularly wanted to look at abuse in the postal voting system. "I was talking to a chief executive recently and he said that at the last general election he was quite amazed to find that on polling day itself 5,000 postal votes were handed in. That in itself raises eyebrows at the very least," he told BBC Radio 4's The World at One. I don't think it is an isolated (case) – it might be an extreme example of what has happened." Sir Eric also described how he was sacked as a minister by David Cameron in his Cabinet reshuffle following the general election. "He said I had been an exceptionally good minister but it was just time to bring in new people. I was the oldest person in the cabinet," he said. 20. And Eric Pickles was sacked by David Cameron because he wanted to move some fresh young blood in. Eric Pickles is currently working on fraud and in particular at the moment in the last election. For a Con I don't mind Eric Pickles he is a little easier on the ear than some of the others.
  21. I have yet to see a development look the same as the initial photographs I see in the letter there is a para saying that the charge could increase owing to vandalism. That leaves it wide open the charge will increase ad infinitum
  22. If these tenants are evicted they will be sent somewhere else to make other people's lives a misery. Probably a little controversial but I would make one or two or three of these flats available for these druggies then at least they are all in one place and easier to police. Move the young families out and give them nice trouble free homes. Give the children a chance. The druggies have made their choice. If these druggies are moved they are just going to make somebody else's life a misery and so on.
  23. So very sad to hear the two fathers/husbands of the women and children who have fled to Syria - extremism so very frightening
