From memory I think there is quite a bit of information in Glenda's book

Well this is identical to the workings of Freedom Church. What is missing in so many people's lives that they are sucked into hypocritical money making scam clap trap. God I hope I always remain mentally stable enough to steer clear of these creeps.

I do miss them I hope they are all ok perhaps they'll be back shortly. The new FC Headquarters is really rather in quite a prominent place not hidden away in Conningsby Street. Not all people passing by will necessarily agree with FC and their shenanigans - I see trouble ahead.

Perhaps he will go through a conversion dear praying Bobby x

I don't think Prince Charles is a goer he seems almost for roads and houses. didn't he cause uproar in Cornwall for allowing a road and many houses to be constructed on one of his many estates. Princess Anne had a more sensible view I think when she said yes small estates in villages are a good idea as in 10 to 20 etc which is something I truly believe most people would feel comfortable with. Of course there is Jules Hudson as in Escape to the Country. He now lives in Eaton Bishop couldn't be closer really. I heard Kirstie Allsopp talking on the radio about housing she has some very good ideas and is also very experienced. She believes that there should not be a single storey say supermarket in a town. Flats should be constructed on top of these supermarkets and stores because this is where youngsters want to live. In a town near to all the night life and entertainment. I think she said Denmark had adopted this idea. Another thing she said that villages should be told this is how many council homes you need where would you like to have them built. Situation agreed and then they are built in a crescent shape.

So they are obviously getting their staff in situ ready for their new premises. Would I be correct in assuming that they will also be including a wedding venue in the new premises?

Well Greenknight so you won't be tempted into booking a room at Holme Lacy for a little while then. It was actually a long time ago an Old Folks Home. Anyway back to the topic I would direct your Countryfile email directly to Matt (he's a farmer's son) and of course to Adam. I think they both will be more sympathatic to the cause. The local branch of the NFU are working very closely with the tenants and the Council to get the best deal for the tenants so an email to the local Chairman probably would not go amiss if only to show somebody from town is concerned etc etc. Why not the One Show they seem to be showing more and more of things outside of London. Angela Rippon did the bit on the chicken farms in Hereford last week.

Here for Hereford 32 mins · CAMPAIGN TO HALT AND REVISE THE PLANNING APPLICATION FOR THE SOUTHERN LINK ROAD Here for Hereford has been contacted by many of their supporters who cannot easily download the Planning Application documents (No. 151314) for the Southern Link Road, so much so that Here for Hereford has requested that Herefordshire Council re-submit the Planning Application with a revised set of documents. The purpose of revising the documents would be to make them easier to read. Each document should have its own self-explanatory title and each document should stand on its own, rather than be buried within other documents. At the moment the difficulties associated with studying the current documents risk the consultation itself being found to be in breach of guidelines for public consultations.

Cabinet control of Herefordshire Council could end soon
Denise Lloyd replied to megilleland's topic in Open Forum
Question - When new Ward Councillors turn up for their first Council meeting how do they get selected to join various Committees do they like new elected MP's have to make maiden speeches for which they will be forever remembered or do they make known which areas they specialise in eg - housing/transport/social care? Or is it just a case of the seletors like the look of them and like their particular political party?- 70 replies

I would not imagine the tenant farmers will get anything in compensation - they have now been put on short term rental

Was the new financial provision granted to them through prayer or a bung from their new partners in crime New Spring Church or perhaps a totally legit source? Another organisation who seems to know how the Planning Department are going to jump before they actually jump. There are 2 Council farms at Grafton I do not think the route runs through these but there is a very strong rumour that houses will be built on them once the road is in situ. So I suppose you could say the council have more than a little bit of an interst in this road.

Help us put the brakes on unnecessary road-building A recent government announcement unveiled the biggest spending spree on our major road network since the 1970s, setting out a colossal £15 billion road-building programme over the next five years. Unless we can persuade the new Government to put the brakes on these plans, over a thousand miles of new and widened roads will butcher large sections of England’s countryside, including National Parks, Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty and Green Belt. There are alternatives to major road-building: Give people real travel choices Plan better Make transport more efficient Improve road safety Major road-building must become the option of last resort. There’s huge potential to reopen railway lines, expand local bus services, and construct safe routes for walking and cycling. New housing should be planned better to help minimise local traffic; car sharing should be promoted, whilst shared van use by delivery companies would ease the pressure on our roads. Investment in roads should focus on making careful improvements to our existing network: to make them safer and bring them up to higher environmental standards. Help us win our arguments We’ve made recent gains but the threat of major road-building presents an enormous challenge. As a result of our engagement with Ministers, CPRE has already secured: England’s first ever Cycling and Walking Investment Strategy to raise the country’s low levels of cycling and walking A £300m ring-fenced fund to reduce the environmental impact of our existing road network. It’s easy to listen to the rich and powerful roads lobby. But we need to prepare for the smarter travel of the future, not return to the discredited transport of the past. With your help we can make sure the new Government has no option but to listen to us.

However, Housing and Planning Minister Brandon Lewis insists that protection for the countryside is being maintained. "I think we've got a system now that trusts local people to make those decisions, and the National Planning Policy Framework is actually very clear. "Great weight should be given to conserving landscapes and Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty. "Planning permission should be refused for major developments in these except in exceptional circumstances and where it can be demonstrated that it is in the public interest." File on 4 is on BBC Radio 4 on Tuesday 9 June at 20:00 BST. Listen online or download the programme podcast.
