  1. I think I have now recieved the full hand of canvassing leaflets some of which have even been posted to me. Would somebody like to enlighten to me and tell me how all this is funded. I know the Indies fund themselves but I think the rest are reliant on donations. If this is the case is there a list of donations available for public viewing?
  2. I expect the rats will thoroughly enjoy them
  3. Sebastian I have had a little think about your reply and my subsequent reply. Your profile states your location is Ross so naturally I assumed that's where you live. The two charities you are involved with and have yet to name. Shall I make it easier for you and ask the direct question are you a member of Freedom Church?
  4. Thank you for answering 2 of my comments there is a third outstanding
  5. It should be available for comment on line about Saturday. Good letter!
  6. Well Sebastian allow yourself plenty of time if you're going to knock on every door in Holmer. Do you not see yourself at a slight disadvantage by not living in the area. Ross is a far cry from Hereford and it's inherent problems. I always think it says plenty about a person's character which charities they follow and amongst your many activities you work with 2 charities. Which ones are they?
  7. Jess drops into the Bull Ring Kingstone today don't know why just did. I wasn't there so didn't see him.
  8. Jimbo going off topic we will be reprimanded so I'll make it quick. The Bridge Sollars bridge was renewed a little while ago the road was closed for 2 years. Your client base the residents of Madley refused to allow the Brdige Sollars to be widened
  9. Oh totally different. Once upon a time in the old market there were stalls upon stalls selling everything and I mean everything. You could get really good bargains. The farmers' wives would come in with the farmers do their weekly shop and look around the stalls and do any other shopping. During the school holidays children would flock to see the animals it was a tremendous learning curve for a lot of town children. There were loads of packed buses from the Valleys so it would also be Welsh day. Lovely happy family atmosphere. Traffic was a bit of a problem but nothing like it is nowadays. Time moves on and moving the livestock market certainly was an excellent decision it is now one of the busiest livestock markets in the country and animals are brought for sale from all over the country. Sadly the new market does not really encourage sightseers and it is a shame they didn't raise the cafe there so that you can take in the whole market. Health and safety and business don't mix with young children running around. However if anybody is interested it is well worth a visit on a busy day but keep your arms and head still else you might end up buying a pen of sheep or pigs!
  10. AV this accident could have happened on any one of the routes into Hereford so shouldn't be used to substantiate the argument for a West bypass. Don't knock market day what many people do not know is for every sheep that passes through the market HC pick up I think 10p per sheep. Some days there can be as many as 12000 so work it out for yourself a nice little earner.
  11. I apologise for my lighthearted comment I now understand a number of sheep died as a result of the accident.
  12. It was an overturned stock trailer containing sheep. If as the report suggests there were sheep on the loose they would have enjoyed the bountiful supply of dandelions. Is this HC's idea of keeping the mowing costs down?
  13. I admire your loyalty Sebastian I hope it won't be abused in the fullness of time

On top of that, we fallen in love with pizzas and will be offering amazingly tasty wood fired pizzas alongisde the bar. We cant say a date unfortunately, but for now, just sit tight and get ready...The Shack Revolution are coming to Hereford. Amen.
  15. But also sadly remember some of the landowners will benefit handsomely. I say sadly because most of the farms along that route are inherited farms from their parents. I know a lot of the parents didn 't envisage that this would happen when they scrimped and saved and struggled to buy the farms in the first place. They imagined that their offspring would carry on doing what the land was intended for fine food production. Inherited wealth.
  16. Sebastian another very enthusiastic youngster look for election and using Hereford Voice for your platform. I will leave it to the others to wrap your knuckles on this I had my say on the matter last night. You mention church are you very religious or did I misunderstand your remark?
  17. Do people on Hereford Voice realise you can private message contributors to make arrangements for meetings. This website is not for use as an electioning platform. I know I will get shouted at but ho hey it won't be the first time!!
  18. Yes Paul even if Jess and Bill and even Tony J don't do anything about these things if they are emailed they can't say they didn't know. There is an electronic confirmation that it has been sent to them.
  19. IOC website only shows a few of their 41 or 42 candidates
  20. Be warned I am having a Bobby moment studying Milliband's face tonight on the the television whilst he was talking my gaze reached his eyebrows and blow me down he has them either waxed or plucked they are perfect in every way . Now the question is can we really trust a man who has his eyebrows manicured to rule our country?
  21. Greenknight all things are relative bear in mind the Con posters stuck in the ground/hedges that abound probably only belong to a couple of farms with many acres and 2 or 3 or 4 voters to each. Whereas if posters were put in gardens of say Bobblestock there would be a lot more voters. Both Graham Powell and Philip Price are very well thought of in some circles and for different reasons. Having said that there are now many many wealthy "newcomers" of all ages and professions to both Golden Valley North and GV South. To add to that there is a tremendous row going on in Dorstone because a farmer wants to erect a couple of chicken houses. There is an IOC living in that area and very actively fighting these chicken houses. So nothing is cast in stone in either GV wards I would not like to call it. My vote is in Wormside.
  22. No Meggieland or somebody more wised up than I will have to I did try honest
  23. I don't think I saw Greenow did I? Andrew Atkinson was shipped off somewhere else by Jess to stand for councillor
  24. There is an absolute classic on Facebook Hereford and Worcester page but I am unable to link it. It involves Tony Johnson a big van and a stray dog
  25. My understanding is that the Indies are non political and want to keep politics out of Herefordshire Council so choose to label themselves unattached.
