I'm part of the OLM customer/management meetings and from what was said at the last meeting the rumors were false and Chimichengas were going nowhere,Beefy boys were not relocating there and were perfectly happy with the unit they have. The next meeting in April will be very interesting. -
I'm shocked...BBLP been around the College Est roads twice today. We are seriously going to get dumped on Thursday & Friday with a foot + of snow expected. The good news is that it's going to get a little milder by Sunday.

Walking into City yesterday I noticed a huge amount of rubbish on the embankment of the Brook retail park & the shrub area of Stonebow is a right mess too.
-
They need to go a little steady with that grit. There's that much on the roads they are looking like sand dunes in places

From what I can see of what is being built it looks nothing like the plans

First accident along the new city link road
ragwert replied to Hereford Voice's topic in Hereford City
Not giving way to on coming traffic -
Another very lame reason.1 The proposal would have insufficient parking and this would result in indiscriminate parking to the detriment of highway safety. The burger van in b&q car park does not have issues with parking or people parking stupidly.

Found it....Taken from Hereford Times when plans for development were made public in 2016 although the plans show 35%. While the precise housing mix will depend upon market conditions and Herefordshire Council’s priorities in terms of affordable housing provision, the planners have released an indicative housing mix. They propose 55 one-bed flats, 29 classed as affordable, 101 two bed flats with 55 affordable, 218 two-bed houses and 118 affordable, 226 three-bed houses and 122 affordable, 133 four-bed houses and 71 affordable, and 47 five-bed houses with 25 affordable. Just over 50%

I was about to say exactly the same thing with regards to the unbelievable amount of litter along the A465. The shear amount of litter from the Rotherwas link Road to top of hill by old ambulance station is appalling.

Looked like open reach were there looking down one of their manholes.

They cannot build the new housing est without the bypass being built but even so the land in which the houses etc will be built on is owned by the church. They stipulate that in excess of 50% of these houses have to be 'affordable' and i'm sure I saw somewhere in the pre planning app that 55% will be affordable so I'm thinking which house builder would take this on.

These houses in Kings Acre Road are in direct line of by pass. Building on the black line of the proposed routes also takes a house out between Wyevale & the newly constructed houses.

Wondering when these idiots who spend so much time hiding tobacco will learn that sniffer dogs will always find their stash wherever they hide it.

A man has been arrested tonight after the attempted robbery of the Welcome fish bar in Widemarsh Street. Earlier report of a man having a gun pointed in his face on Greyfriars Bridge.

Supposed to be starting the the revamp of Commercial Street now so I can see it is possibly halted like the other road projects until after the poppy display has finished
