  1. Yep & vehicles confiscated. This is on Capler Lane,a regular dumping ground.
  2. You could say that about this topic. There are dozens of topics here that broadly are on about the same sort of problem but for some reason warrant yet another topic.
  3. Could say the same about posts 2,8,18,19 & 22 but I ain't moaning
  4. This is Sam again.I had a chat with her this morning as I was asked to remove the rubbish that she had been installing as a wind barrier on some private land I'm looking after. It was pretty obvious by what she was saying to me that she has mental problems. She said she likes to be seen and will set up campsites to do so. She also said she's not homeless and never has been as she has more than a few tent homes pitched up.
  5. Pretty sure they were given some sort of huge loan a few months back
  6. I never started this so what's your point Ubique?
  7. If you have a product that has be tested by Govt departments, given a British Standard number & also a class 0 fire rating which then fails new fire standards, who do you blame? On the other hand other Countries have also tested this type of cladding and come up with very different levels of fire resistance.France give it an absolute zero for being flamable and say it's non combustible,UK give it a 0 which means a very slow spread of flame something like 8 inches in 10 mins. Germany's fire rating gives it the same rating as wood. Blame lies with outdated regs.
  8. You would of thought like Jeremy did that Maduro being Chavez vice president would of followed in his footsteps, how wrong that turned out.The people are angry,Civil war is around the corner. I got why Jeremy supported Chavez - but Maduro? No. Wishful thinking Dippy. I can see Civil war
  9. To be honest I'm surprised there are 17 estate agents still about, then again they charge so much so that's probably why. The rise in cheap online estate agents will kill them in the end though and they will all probably follow. I'll be selling our home next year using one of the online agents & it will cost me around £600.Compare that to the £3,000 say Connells would want it's a no brainer.
  10. I see the Hereford Times has removed some 40+ comments on this article http://www.herefordtimes.com/news/15441072.Online_poll__What_s_your_view_on_council_s___1m_overspend_to_complete_refurbishment_of_Blueschool_House_/
  11. These 'crimes' must include people reporting that their vehicles have been hit by other vehicles,ie wing mirrors being knocked off or smashed.
  12. What happened when Keepmoat contractors came in to install fibre cables after homeowner had moved in https://www.facebook.com/lee.joseph.stewart/videos/vb.885565537/10158748720940538/?type=2&theater
  13. Fire regulations were not disregarded though were they.Nothing to do with building control officers signing off the cladding as it had passed some very standard fire tests way back in 1998.The only Country that tested this type of cladding and came to the proper conclusion was Germany giving it a B1 classification...The same as wood. Building regulations were and still are out of date and a complete overhaul and re testing of all materials used in construction is needed.
  14. If they are going to build 800 'homes' then most of these will be flats.
  15. Should this not be part of Aylestone Voice topic
  16. It seems those paid to do the job cannot even be bothered. I took these pictures yesterday of a young girl with a dustcart going through town not even bothering to pickup any rubbish. One of the reasons why is because she was on her phone.
  17. I think these signs were put up after this topic started and quite clearly show they something is not quite right. The first sign is as you are starting to go around the roundabout shows the last lane is for A49 south but when you are half way round another sign shows that lane is for A438 west. Not only that but A49 N A49S becomes A49 S A49N
  18. There is also a problem in Blueschool Street when turning right into Widemarsh Street. There is no reason why the box junction extends into the right hand lane turning for Widemarsh Street as you are not hindering any other vehicles. This causes a back up of traffic in Blue School Street especially in rush hr traffic because only three vehicles can squeeze in between the lights and the box junction.
  19. The only planning appI have seen is for two retail units on Blackfriars Street where the furniture place was with 56 flats behind for social housing I very much doubt 800 'homes' will be built in and around the link road. Plans for a new fire & police station & acc for Uni students along with a new county bus terminal have scuppered the original plan for the area.
  20. I have seen her visiting another 'encampment' on the Holmer Industrial Estate where a bloke known as Wayne who sports a Mohican haircut is living with his missus after they lost their home and kids to social services.
  21. The real problem with that development is where its been built. The station is badly located out of town (1 mile).Terrible local bus service. Most people who arrive by train at the station have to use a taxi to get into the City and most people who use it arrive by car or have bought one of the posh expensive flats. As one person says it's full of expensive flats for commuters to London and boring chain shops/restaurants. This development is huge.To compare it to what is being built on the link road is laughable.
  22. I got my stats from the best site out there ILO http://www.ilo.org/global/lang--en/index.htm
  23. Who are the scammers? UK claimants or Polish. I'd have a pretty good guess there would be 'scammers' in both Countries.
  24. 7.1 % are disabled in Poland.Population 37 million 10.3 % disabled in UK Population 65.2 million. When it come to working age people Poland has the highest level in Europe The disabled people in poland1. *Inactivity rates of Polish workers with disabilities tend to be much higher than in other countries. , the country has the highest level of disability in Europe, with some 2.38 million people with disabilities in working age
  25. Her kids are with their father as she has split from him. She want a 3 bed house so they can stay with her on occasions, this is why she is refusing a 1 bed flat/house. Went past the roundabout today and it looks a mess with timber structures/props being put up with a load of balloons attached.
