  1. I can see Dave getting a mixed grilling at PM's question time
  2. I hope he makes a few comments in the Commons regarding Piggate Poor old Dave will never be able to call Samantha Babe again
  3. They packed up and left in the middle of the night. Some of them barely had time to tweet their indignation before grabbing what limited personal belongings they could carry and heading South East. By dawn the camps had sprung up near Dover, desperate ex Labour Front-benchers and their aides huddled together waiting for the traffickers who would take them to the continent and a new life, away from Corbyn, somewhere safe. The lucky ones have already made it across to France, but their perilous journey has only just started. ‘I heard that some of the Scandinavian countries have true Social Democratic parties, and they’ll take people from anywhere’, one tired and emotional ex Shadow Cabinet member said, echoing the thoughts of many of his colleagues. But he knows he must take care – one of his colleagues managed to get the last Eurostar train to Brussels before the borders were closed but was caught on arrival and taken straight to a European Parliament Subcommittee on Agriculture and Rural Development. The reality for most of these unfortunate people is that Europe doesn’t want them. ‘We already have enough social democrats!’ one German lady stated today, ‘and I would rather we looked after our own politicians, some of whom have had a terrible time recently.’ The plight of these desperate, broken people is shocking even to the most hardened journalist. Their haunted faces and empty eyes are still the same as before, but they haven’t shaved in a couple of days. Stuck between a government that doesn’t want them and a Europe that doesn’t seem to care the MPs wait, listen to Radio 4 and recount stories from the good old days when they could win elections. ‘Those days are long gone, my friend, long gone’ they lament
  4. Seems about right
  5. I see the Tories are about to scrap free school meals for infants.Another pledge in their manifesto gone
  6. From what I make of the decision the site plans were awful the pods were not shown properly in the app,the exact location was a mystery to the planning committee, and looking at the planning app I have to agree.
  7. God save the queen is not the English national anthem.Us English don't have one the Welsh anthem is Land of my Fathers the Scots don't have one either but sing flower of Scotland Ireland sing Irelands call.
  8. But not in the woodland which the woodland trust say they were and also another five species which were also not seen or heard. Don't get me wrong I'm not being nit picking with this but when you get big organisations writing false info they need to be asked why. Response from Woodland trust to my question. Hi William. We were able to access this information in the form of environmental assessments and surveys carried out by Parsons Brinckerhoff for Herefordshire Council, as part of the planning application for the South Herefordshire Relief Road; we'd suggest you get in touch with the council who should hopefully be able to give provide you with access to the appropriate documentation
  9. Because I asked them . They got their info from........environmental assessments and surveys carried out by Parsons Brinckerhoff for Herefordshire Council, as part of the planning application for the South Herefordshire Relief Road Which I posted above. No part of the assessment talks of barbastelle bat
  10. Digging a little deeper I had a very good look at the NBN (national biodiversity network) website for the barbastelle bat and the only record of a siting was at Abbey Dore.
  11. I'm against this road for a variety of reasons the main being if we are to build a by-pass we should start with building a bridge first. It's all very well objecting to something but when the woodland trust who have not even visited this wood or even been no where near it object with that statement then it's obviously going to be thrown out. The bat report states otherwise.Only two trees with roosting bats and they won't be directly affected by the road. I think all trees anywhere have the potential to have roosting bats Tree surveys identified over 40 trees potentially suitable for roosting bats within the survey area. The majority of these trees were considered to have high or moderate potential to support roosting bats. Emergence surveys confirmed two trees which supported soprano pipistrelle (Pipistrellus pygmaeus) roosts at the time of survey. No other tree roosts were identified during the roost surveys, however several trees within the survey area continue to have moderate to high potential to support roosting bats. The two tree roosts would not be directly affected by any of the alignment options under consideration; however indirect effects should be considered. Impact assessment and mitigation measures will be detailed within the subsequent Environmental Statement
  12. My thoughts exactly
  13. The planning application from Beefy Boys to open the last restaurant on the Old Market seems to have vanished

To include, signage fixed to existing structures, infill branded screens, totem style wayfinding, new seating, box planters, artificial green wall, art installations and a Hereford Bull sculpture. There is also an associated suspended street lighting scheme to an area of the development THE COUNTY OF HEREFORDSHIRE DISTRICT COUNCIL hereby gives notice in pursuance of the above Act and Regulations that CONSENT has been GRANTED for the display of the advertisements described above in accordance with the application and plans submitted to the authority subject to the compliance with the Standard Conditions set out overleaf and the following condition: 1 This consent shall expire on 13 August 2020. Reason: In the interests of the visual amenity of the area and to comply with Paragraph 67 ofthe National Planning Policy Framework.
  15. Planning applications for two ATM's on the Old Market have been refused By virtue of their scale and appearance in such a prominent location, the introduction of the two pods containing these ATMs would appear a cumbersome afterthought that would unacceptably detract from the immaculate frontage of the flagship retail destination in Hereford. This is contrary to saved Policies S2 and DR1 of the Herefordshire Unitary Development Plan and part 7 of the National Planning Policy Framework.
  16. Very good friend of ours Matt Jones has opened a mens haidressers in Bridge St
  17. River Island are middle of the road prices with a great range of clothes etc for men.You want anything cheaper then it's Asda or Primark. I found Jack Wills expensive when we looked in one of their stores in Cheltenam so I don't think I'll be buying anything when they open.
  18. Don't think they have changed the shopfronts but yes that gas pipe sticking out of the door looks silly
  19. Pretty extensive refurb. The entrance is now on the right with seating inside
  20. The reason and only reason to have multiple aliases on here is to stir the sh*t pot. Weed em out Colin
  21. I used to be a moderator on a huge international website for a good five years. The amount of aliases from rival sites and complete weirdo's was overwhelming.
  22. People who have vehicles in Kingsway pay on average £50 more for their insurance. Found that out when I looked for insurance for my father in law and accidentally put in my address, changed it to his and it was £64 more. I think the no entry sign is a great idea
  23. Multiple aliases.... very naughty I hope pseudonyms are OK.Anyway that is my name, just ask my mother Ribwort
  24. Two instruments to be installed to monitor how many vehicles use Kingsway and vehicles that break the 30mph limit. This will hopefully lead to Kingsway being an access only road with a no entry sign put up at the Old School lane end to stop rat runners.
  25. Just been announced that Sky news has seen three test results for Paula Radcliffe that clear her of doping. All test results fall below normal levels for samples taken after altitude training.
