Quite agree. I shop and visits restaurants in City center and Old Market, whinging about the Old Market with quotes like I'll never step in there....Really,get a grip and get a life.cannot wait for Beefy boys to open. If you want to see and have a taste of what they have to offer then you can find them every Thursday at the Left Bank- 185 replies

I think the series of events with these buildings over the past 5 years even with Council involvement we would still have this ugly blight on our City center. What enforcement action are you talking about because it took nearly four years for the insurance company to pay out did it not.

Was at bubbles the other day and they have to vacate by end of this month.

Widemarsh common is leased to Hereford lads club I think for £1 a year

Travellers moved onto Widemarsh common this afternoon causing traffic chaos...But not for long They were soon spotted by Keith and mates from the lads club and with support from the police they were booted off. Police were keeping an eye out whilst Keith & Mark repaired the fence which was damaged.

There are a few still around (travellers) doing garden work this week. This is an attempt to do some close board fencing at one of my fathers elderly friends home this week.

That massive ugly building
-
And at least he's Herefordian and employs a lot of people and not a company that does not give a toss whether the building is occupied, empty or burned out.

Not surprised in the least.Used to always get our pizzas from here until the bloke from Zulfies bought it.

Looking like the new Editor Clive Joyce is angering most of his Hereford Times readers with his stance on that awful picture and quite right too.

I think that Mr Sockett has bought the Butter market. The market value was about £1 million so yes it's in private hands
