  1. They actually made a pinch point instead. If there are more than five cars waiting to turn into Asda then traffic backs up preventing cars being able to use the right hand lane to Belmont Road.
  2. As a very keen cyclist myself I'd like to see cycle lanes that could easily come to fruition. The foot paths on both sides of the new bridge & down Victoria St and also down Edgar Street on the left side could be made to accommodate both pedestrians and cyclists. We also have a major problem with cyclists not using cycle paths in Hereford.
  3. a link road between Edgar Street and the station, - but the likelihood of that being built now seems probably impossible. I'm interested in what makes you think that?
  4. Just noticed I have a neg on my post in which the statement is correct LOL
  5. Nothing would ever fit for the ioc though would it, and why are you looking at the webcam link?
  6. Will still be two lanes until link road is built Cloudberry. Nothing can be started with the link road until all cpo's have been sorted.
  7. Is Widemarsh Street being renamed Widemarsh Gate?
  8. This was a quote to megileland not your post. Not sure why your post was included. The redevelopment at Holmer has nothing to do with the ESG plans
  9. Some people really do talk crap

  12. Councillor Bridges.....Yes you are wrong and you being a Councillor should know.If you don't then find out
  13. Well you told him,he did not listen and you still kept his post up
  14. Gridknocker, full of new year remorse took a stroll over the newly built greenway bridge, looked over the side, slipped and fell in.Gridknocker came to & wept.He was under the Wye,trapped in the dripping grotto that is King Bobby's lair carpeted by thousands of copies of the Hereford Times with just a table & laptop,a bottle of bells & hessian sack that was filled with Bobby's special things: his teddy, his catapult, his first fishing net & rod, his autograph book full of signatures from local Tory Councillors he had fawned over.Gridknocker wriggled. He was hanging upside down, his legs trapped in an Asda trolly. It hurt, his shorts were wet with his own terror and the slime from Bobby's lair. Bobby limped over to Gridknocker, his long cape dragging on the murky newspaper strewn floor. He looked into Gridknockers terrified little face and spoke, his fetid fish breath sliding up gridknockers nose. "You have failed again Gridknocker,I want my stupid ramblings listed above your lame attempts to be king,I don't want to ever see your fictional stories ever again. Do you understand?" Gridknocker squeezed his eyes and shook his head frantically. He had soiled himself again

  17. Will you be using the facilities of the new development Glenda?
  18. Talking of the cycleway bridge it's been labled a death trap http://www.worcesternews.co.uk/news/regional/herefordshire/10905819.New_route_in_Hereford_labelled_as_cycling__death_trap_/
  19. Still think we should have a Uni.This City needs to grow to prosper not let it stagnate as what would have happened if IOC were in charge. Just think, instead of a cycle path to Rotherwas we would of had a train track
  20. The problem is we have too many shops.20 years ago we bought all our goods etc from 'town' but the building of supermarkets the internet & the recessions have made it impossible for every shop unit to be filled. To be blunt I don't find it depressing at all,the City is still a great place to shop,we just need to find alternative uses for some shop units. And I agree stop talking this great City of ours down
  21. Heard that someone was caught building Illegally at the back
  22. The k as in K1 K2 K3 stands for kiosks
  23. Grid knocker...It was in the Hereford Times some eight months ago.If you think that the new development will not bring more people into the City to shop then I must be missing something. And please we live in a City
  24. Yeah they are very small units, something like 3x3 mtrs and could be pitches. As I said I have asked someone I know from the PR dept and am waiting for a reply, when I find out will let you know. There is a white board floor plan on the wall in the Newmarket tavern showing all units bar the K units filled. As to how I know this I'll let your imagination run wild. Had a great Christmas thanks and daughter has just stopped using crutches and is a lot better.
