Hi Pete, I value your contribution to this thread. It's a real worry, just how quickly this group is fanning out. Their tentacles are far reaching, and many of their members influential. One senior member,in a recent social media post, has said they are now going into television...... reaching the masses..... If they were just happy and clappy,I wouldn't have an issue. But I think there's far more to it than that.....

But if they're stuck on the outskirts, and have to battle their way IN to the city..... the medieval core of Old Hereford could be gone! And we all know how long it's taking to get just one fire damaged building sorted! (Frank, my friend, I was just suggesting that if you were interested in some of the arguments which have been put forward from various people/departments, the other thread contains a lot of useful information, from a variety of contributors!)

Hi Pete! If you read through all posts on this thread, all of this has been highlighted! I am really concerned about this, that's why I started the thread. Honestly, you don't have to do an awful lot of digging, to find just how many worrying links Freedom Church has. And now, following the elections..... perhaps a good few more. Please add any snippets of info that you may have..... or pm me if you don't want to post directly on the thread!

Morning Frank! I'm not sure if you've had a chance to look at the thread about Saving The Working Boys Home...... and I appreciate it's very lengthy! ......but there's lots of information in there about the reasons the fire station has to be placed in a fairly central position. A couple of examples being......Response times for reaching the medieval core, for instance, and also for the retained fire fighters. There's lots to read...... but give yourself plenty of time! It took Green Knight the best part of a weekend to work his way through from beginning to end!

Yes folks, you read that right! Last night, a dreadful thing happened...... Colin banned me! Chucked me out into the ether! Banished! Of course..... it was a "Mistake!" (Yes....I believe you, Col!) And thankfully, all's well that ends well!

I'd love to see it utilized as a home for adults with learning disabilities. Hereford is sadly lacking in decent, residential places. This could be a real plus, if that's the intended market.

And at this point in the proceedings, might I suggest that we stop picking at the scab, and allow a little healing to take place? In the nicest possible way..... let's all shut up!

Apologies for my late reply, Grid Knocker, I've only just seen this! Dave Benjamin and Julie Woodward...... two outstanding individuals. Both with vision, both gone too soon, and both missed by many.
