Hi Rich, you have done yourself proud. I'm so pleased you took up my invite to join this thread. Highlighting all of the murky goings on, needs doing. A job not many are prepared to do! I take my hat off to you Sir! I hope the majority of Ledbury residents realise what a service you have done them, in bringing this to the surface. For far too long, too many folks have sat back and said nothing. Never questioning what is going on within their local councils, whether that be parish, town, city or shire. Some of us have woken up. Some of us have begun to question, criticise...... to be met by a wall of bluff and balderdash. The only way to move forward, is to vote them out come May 7th. Maybe then, we can truly see democracy in action......

I'm actually quite gobsmacked, that he thinks going down this avenue is going to be of any benefit to him at all.

You certainly are entitled to your opinion, Colin. I'm sure you will have the full support of many members, myself included.

Stand your ground Colin. What you have given is your opinion, based on your previous experience of dealings with this Cllr. This is a brilliant forum, where free speech reigns. You moderate it superbly. I would have far more respect for somebody who had the decency to make a complaint in person, than issue legal threats.

Thanks TWG. Hi Ubique, yes this certainly isn't an issue which is confined to Hereford, but how many other cities answer have been...."I know! We'll cut the city in half, tempt out many of the retailers who are already open and trading here, and leave our historic core to rot!" Errrr. Just Hereford.

Cheers Megilleland! I love his style of writing..... he's so frank and open with his opinions. A refreshing change......but not one the old guard at Ledbury Town Council wanted to embrace..... He's a good bloke. A real loss for Ledbury.

Great to see democracy and freedom of speech alive and well in Ledbury. The police were called to a town council meeting, as attempts were made to stop Rich Hadley give his resignation speech. Lots to be interested in here..... developers, pecuniary advantage, not declaring an interest, and lots it would seem, of you cover my back, I'll cover yours. I for one, am very interested to hear what Rich Hadley has to say. I hope he gets the opportunity . It's a shame he is resigning. (Hopefully, Liz Harvey will storm it in Ledbury, and retain her place, now this is an amazing individual.....I wish her all the very best!)
