I can't quite believe this. Don't they have enough to fill their time? I can't understand what chain of events has occurred, for us to find ourselves discussing this. Where oh where did it all start to go so wrong?

To be honest, I had never thought about it from this angle. Now that you've pointed it put, it seems obvious that those who finish in the early hours would appreciate the opening times of your venue! Good Grief Green Knight! Have you completely lost the plot???? I can think of nothing worse, than innocently turning on my laptop, and seeing a gurning caricature of myself !! Have you forgotten we are supposed to be trying to attract new members..... not permanently scare them away, after they've been traumatised for life! Think of the elderly.... think of the children....... Think of the councillors. They may sue if this image emotionally damages them!

Precisely, Two Wheels. It's an absolute farce. As Megilleland has found, you are passed from pillar to post. Each department adamant that it's somebody else responsibility. And round and round we go. It's never ending.

Unfortunately..... whilst we wait, and observe and comment, High Town is still left looking as if a bombs been dropped on it! Not a great advert for the city, particularly with The Three Choirs Festival imminent. The last time we hosted this renowned festival, it looked horrendous. Visitors who return to Hereford as we host it again - three years on - will surely be as astonished and dismayed as many of the locals, that it looks pretty much the same.

I think the owner has also queried the fact that included in these figures, are the times police were called because door staff had quite rightly refused entry to those on HAND bans. It would appear to be a case of damned if you do and damned if you don't.........

Evening John! I have high hopes that with all the high profile failures/cock ups/mismanagement/scandals that have, and still are, happening...... folks WILL get up off their backsides and go and vote this time! So many bad decisions have been made, which have effected so many people, that I would hope the rising tide of voter apathy we have seen so much of in recent elections, may finally be on the turn. We quite simple have to wave goodbye to this administration. We cannot stand by and watch this anymore. We have to say loudly and clearly.... enough is enough. There is a better way of doing things. Let's try it!

If they absolutely insist that this has to be decorated, one thought does spring to mind...... We are home to a degree based Arts Course....... surely there is enough local talent to make this a positive addition?

Blimey! Great to hear the correct version of events! Thanks must go to Colin and the staff from Yates. Hopefully, the business won't be too badly affected, and they can be open and trading again soon.

I would also add that locally our hospital/healthcare should be a priority. CAMHS services locally also need to be highlighted. Social care...... and all that is encompassed within....... need to be firmly on the radar. (day centre provision, respite care, residential placement and family support.)

You could be right there, Green Knight! Colin! You need to be on standby to lock this thread at a moments notice!

I have to say though, I think it's a really positive thing that Cllr Chappell is going to let Colin post these reports. It would be really useful to have others. Perhaps other Cllr's could also provide them? It's a useful tool for residents to see what's being done in their areas. After all, transparency and accountability is what it's all about!! I shall look forward to the weekly updates.

Interesting comment about the Glastonbury Close trees, Flam. When Cllr Powell updated us, Balfour Beatty had said they were going out on the 23rd Feb...... so I'm surprised that in a schedule of works for week ending Feb 27th, there is no mention. Must be an over sight......
