So are you saying that if a church gets too big, groups inside that church should break away, form a totally new church with no affiliation to say a mother church? Tithe, would it be right to say that members of FC pay what they call a 10% tithe?

Hello tommy some good points raised I suppose you could say there are similarities of FC's model with that of super churches in the USA of which I find these of a somewhat dubious nature anyway!…new spring church who FC have a very friendly relationship with are one such church who are regard as being dubious even by the the South Carolina Baptist Convention so much so they kick NSC out?! http://thewartburgwatch.com/2015/01/23/baptists-message-to-newspring-youre-not-one-of-us-guest-post-by-james-duncan-of-pajamapages/

I don't know Amanda but they have market stalls on a Saturday etc so should be doable? If it can be done maybe something can be arranged jointly with HTF, here for Hereford & possible IOC?

What about having a stand in high town on a Saturday, informing people on the SLR & why people should object?

Well I've just spoken with the guy who used to have fusion & he said he was paying £30,000 a year so say the odeon was half of that £15,000? be looking at around £45,000 a year? That's how much of a hit HC would be taking if they granted FC the PA & the full 100% business rate discount?
-
No business rates to pay then for FC as they are a charity so if granted it would be a loss of revenue for the council while FC would benefit financially from the PA being granted?

Don't get me wrong Amanda I don't like congestion charges either. But how do you encourage people to stop driving there cars?…because unless that happens there just going to keep building expensive new roads & to be honest if you speak to most people in herefordshire a large majority will say we need a bypass & at lest one river crossing. -
Does anyone know what the business rate would be on the odeon & fusion combined if it was taken over by someone paying business rates? I know the guy who had it when it first changed its name to fusion I'm sure he told me he had a bill for £84,000? But I can't be sure that's correct?

It will be interesting to watch the planning application?…as it would not be surprising if they encourage there congregation to write in favour of passing the PA?

I've had a little listen john Harrington is not in favour. But I think this is a cultural issue & there's a need to change people's hearts & minds to get out of there cars? Hereford has a rubbish public transport system to be fair due to people not wanting to use it that's way the bus service has been reduced not enough decent cycle routes into the city? I think people do need a number of different modes of public transport to choose from that's why a tram system is a great idea a good park & ride also as well as better cycle routes & a much improved bus service? But it's getting those people out of there cars which is the key how do you do that so that they will start using public transport? Most people admittedly won't like a congestion charge but it might encouraging people to get out of there's cars? Also it's a option to building lots of new roads? The money raised could be reinvest in having a better public transport systems? Another option could be to make the bridges toll bridges? -

And: What more so called Christians like him???…as for saying if there where less greedy Christians I think he truly falls into that bracket…
-
Or the car park @ the rear or even Morrisons? Could be a bit of competition for parking thou what with the other church there too next door to the electrical shop can't think of there name?
-
I see they raised money for a local charity safe from slavery by having a fashion show…funny how safe from slavery's directors are members of freedom church which is also a charity & chris Cooke is a trustee for FC & a director of SFS!!!
-
In there last accounts they had 24 employees & something like 250 volunteers…so they could well now have 29? Why can't they use there new international HQ down rotherwas? But then again being bang in the middle of town is a good location for them to be seen & heard for there recruitment drive by targeting the young & vulnerable?………will they be applying for a PA to get some big flashing neon lights on the outside with there logo on???

I know someone who went to Ghana & set up a church…they where also on a reality TV show a couple of years ago which was on sky about gold prospecting.

It would seem that the midlands industrial council & united & Cecil club are both set up so Tory donors can donate money through them & remain anonymous?
-
Your forgetting dippy that the Tory party have had a very good relationship with chile going back to the days of thatcher & Pinochet…the Falklands war plus chile & Argentina are not exactly best buddies?!
-
I think they may have been at one time or other? But I suspect that this is Jonathan Johnson?…who was a trustee for FC. They have a new international headquarters now the forge which used to be the old Marion fathers place.
-
Is FC's Jonathan's camp a camp run & organised by the newly elected councillor for wormside the one & only cllr Jonathan Johnson?
-
Thank you Grid Knocker whether or not these will be words of wisdom only time will tell?…a little bird told me that it will be on the site of the former Essexs arms? where both the police & HWFRS will have there new joint home as it will need to be a shared space the Essex arms will offer this as it is a big enough, area to accommodate both of these services together plus it is already owned by the police which would save on the cost of purchasing the land
